Woolwich Gymnastics Club COVID 19 Vaccination Policy: September 2021
Starting September 22, 2021 the government has mandated the COVID vaccine. In accordance with this mandate, our gym is included as facilities used for sports and fitness activities, however do include some exceptions for youth sports. We will be following these laws, and effective immediately, the following must be adhered to by all families and participants at our gym:
● Any athletes participating do not require vaccination to participate, however it is highly recommended ● Spectators will not be allowed in the gym at this time ● Any parent participating in our programs, must show proof of vaccination and must continue to wear masks ● All Coaches in Training (CITs) or Coaches will be required to be vaccinated or show the appropriate approved medical exemption to work or if not vaccinated, are required to show proof of negative test results weekly ● All coaching staff will continue to wear masks and will be able to do limited spotting of gymnasts for safety purposes ● Proof of vaccine will be verified by our staff at the front door ● Entry is not permitted unless a staff member has checked your vaccination receipt ● Please ensure you do not arrive more than 10 mins prior to practice time and do not arrive late ● We have a zero-tolerance policy for any negativity towards our staff at check-in ● Please continue perform active COVID-19 health screening from the Government of Ontario website (here) prior to coming to the gym

*Pre-Screening will take place before each class. If you OR your child have not been/or is not feeling well, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO YOUR CLASS!
*Masks are required for everyone entering the facility. Once on the gym floor, they may be removed- ATHLETE ONLY. Parents and coaches are required to keep their mask on for the duration of the class and while in the gym.
*Hand sanitizing will be required upon entry
*All members will enter the gym, one at a time and go directly to a spot marked on the floor. We will also dismiss classes in a similar manner.
*Viewing area is closed until further notice. Only 1 parent is permitted in the gym IF they are accompanying their child in the class. For all other classes (girls & boys rec & competitive) drop off/pick up only. Please do not come into the gym.
